Summary: "Disappointed on quality of book....especially since it was 9 years in the making"

Luckily, I did not buy this book, but reviewed it from a friend. The book states it is for use of students in grade school, however the language is the book is not geared for the age set. The quality of the paper in the book is very poor, like toliet paper. The photographs in the book are of such bad quality (very overexposed) that they are almost difficult to look at.

The most helpful part of the book was the tiny pictures of the host plants in the beginning of the book, which would have been better if they had been bigger.

Overall was disappointed with the book, especially since it was 9 years in the making.

Summary: "So Many Butterflies!!!"

When we received our book I flipped through it just to see what the book was like. As I flipped through it I saw a butterfly in the book that I had seen that day at my house. Then I saw another and another. In reading the book I also learned that one of the butterflies that I had seen that day at my house has not been seen in my county. I was hooked. What do I do? How do I let them know about these butterflies that we are seeing? I just read it in the book. It tells you all about how to do all of the questions I had. Now my husband, his mother, and I watch for the butterflies, look them up, read about them, write down the information. This has been so much fun. Now a friend of ours has the book, their five year old daughter loves butterflies. Who knows, maybe another scientist to observe butterflies. WOW-and just think, it all started with a book.
